The many designers who haven’t been drafted to Dribble may be the people it would benefit most. Should we be encouraged to selectively invite only the cream of the crop? What effect would it have on the site’s community and the wider design community to open it up to all?

How to block Farmville on Facebook
“Farmville is popular because in entangles users in a web of social obligations. When users log into Facebook, they are reminded that their neighbors have sent them gifts, posted bonuses on their walls, and helped with each others’ farms. In turn, they are obligated to return the courtesies.”
2009 in review
Some may say long overdue, I say fashionably late. Starring SXSW Interactive festival; “Thing 2”: our second baby boy; House flood; Mum diagnosed with breast cancer; and September spent traveling for work.
Deliberately unremarkable
I rarely have time to blog, let alone redesign my website. I was beginning to worry that professional opportunities may be passing me by as a result of using a bland WordPress theme that didn’t represent me. This is a post about my site redesign.
